Kraków Bites & Stories: Food, Culture & History Tour - Free Tour
Join a unique walking experience in Kraków combining authentic Polish cuisine with history, culture, and local stories. Designed for curious travelers eager to taste traditional food while discovering the city beyond its dishes.
We begin in the heart of the Old Town, around Plac Mariacki and the Main Market Square. From the very start, guests are immersed in Kraków’s atmosphere, with views of St. Mary’s Basilica, the Cloth Hall, and the lively square. Here we introduce the city’s history and set the stage for our culinary journey.
Along the way, we visit carefully selected food spots in the Old Town and later in Kazimierz. Each stop offers a different taste of Kraków – from street food classics and traditional dishes to sweets and regional specialties. Guests choose what they want to try at each location; there is no obligation to buy everything.
This tour is not only about food. We also explore Kraków’s history and culture, walking from the Main Market Square through the Old Town and across to Kazimierz, learning about its Jewish heritage, visiting the Old Synagogue (free on Mondays), and discovering hidden courtyards and local stories along the way.
We finish in Kazimierz, in a local bar with traditional Polish food and drinks in a relaxed, authentic atmosphere – the perfect ending to a cultural and culinary journey.
A perfect mix of food tasting, cultural discovery, and historical storytelling.
