Hisor castle

Hisor Castle is one of the most famous historical sites in Tajikistan, located about 30 km west of Dushanbe.

It dates back over 2,500 years and has been rebuilt many times.The current fortress walls were reconstructed in the 16th century during the time of the Emirate of Bukhara.The main gate with its two large towers is the most iconic part.
