The Dhaulagiri circuit trek is one of the longest and most adventurous treks. This trek takes us through all the high alpine pastures, uninhabited valleys, forests, cultivated terraced hills, and high windswept passes.

This trek includes crossing two high passes: the French Pass (5360m) and the Dhampus Pass (5200m). Additionally, it takes you to the Dhaulagiri base camp at an elevation of 4740m. Mount Dhaulagiri is the world’s 7th highest mountain peak standing at an elevation of 8167m.

The first group to ascend Mount Dhaulagiri was the Swiss expedition group on 1960 May 13. Dhaulagiri circuit trek is not only famous for its mountain views. It is also popular for its diverse culture. Additionally, the trek showcases rich vegetation such as pine, oak, ferns, and more.

The stunning views of Tukuche Peak, Dhaulagiri I, Dhaulagiri II, III, and Dhaulagiri V are the major highlights of this trek. Moreover, it is a long and more of a camping trek.

Day 3: Beni to Babiachaur, 5 hours walk

Day 4: Babiachaur to Dharapani, 6 hours walk

Day 5: Dharapani to Muri, 5 hours walk

Day 6: Muri to Boghara, 6 hours walk

Day 7: Boghara to Dobang, 5 hours walk

Day 8: Dobang to Choriban Khola, 5 hours walk

Day 9: Choriban Khola to Italian Base Camp, 7 hours walk

Day 10: Italian Base Camp to Glacier Camp, 6 hours walk

Day 11: Glacier Camp to Dhaulagiri Base Camp, 7 hours walk

Day 12: Dhaulagiri Base Camp to Hidden Valley via French Pass, 7 hours walk

Day 13: Hidden Valley to Yak Kharka via Dhampus Pass, 7 hours walk

Day 14: Yak Kharka to Marpha, 5 hours walk

Day 15: Marpha to Pokhara, 7 hours drive
