I’ve used Hislandes tours a few times now and found them absolutely superb. Francisco (owner) is extremely knowledgable about the country and the region and offers truly superb expertise.
My wife and I recently went onto a trip up into the Andes with a few colleagues and had one of the best experiences in our life. Fantastic scenery, wonderful sights and sounds we even got to see ancient glaciers and the beautiful condors soaring above - and a truly superb outdoor bbq, superb slab of Chilean beef, all set in the beautiful mountains and passes. Francisco all the time offering us his knowledge of the wonderful places we were visiting and where we were driving through. Of course accompanied by the best Chilean wine !
A very recent trip I went with a group of colleagues and Francisco again on a white water raft experience down the Maipo canyon. What a marvellous experience all round. Again, Francisco promptly collected us all from the hotel and we drove through the beautiful countryside to the canyon. The guys who supplied the raft and wetsuits / safety equipment gave us all a superb safety instruction then we set off down the river. What an adrenaline rush, an absolutely superb trip. Unbeknown to us, Francisco had even organised photographers to be stationed along the riverbank to get shots of us paddling through the white water. A real superb excellent day. From here, we gathered the equipment and headed back to the rafting headquarters, hot shower got changed and onto a superb local meal and red wine in a vert clean local restaurant...absolutely wonderful and our stomachs full of Chilean food.
Truly one of the best trips I’ve ever been on, great guides, great activities, well provided, superb safety and FANTASTIC value.
Can not recommend Hislandes or Francisco enough, a truly superb experience you must try. Thank you all
