Citron's coast is a little trait of coast on the west coast of Calabria - the foot of italy!
30 kms of old medieval villages surronded by mountains facing the Tyrrenian sea produce the famous and high quality Citron, a citrus fruit that is unique for many reason. First of all it is cultivated for Jewish comunities from all over the world being a real sacred fruit in their culture.
On the other side it is also cultivated to produce candied peel and the Cedro Liqueur a real noble relatives of Limoncello!
Together we'll visit a little plantation and a company specialized in the production of candied citron's peel.
