Prainha Beach and Sítio Burle Max

This farmstead is located in the west of Rio de Janeiro and it was refuge of the great Brazilian landscape gardener. There, he entertained his friends and worked on his projects and researches. We will visit his house and studio, gardens, greenhouses, and a colonial chapel.

Prainha

It is considered the most beautiful beach in Rio and it was safeguarded from property speculation thanks to the surfers who elected it as their favorite point some time ago. In 1999, it was created the Prainha State Park which extends between the sea and the mountains. There, we will spend a pleasant morning and we can swim.
