Travel to Quriyat from Muscat and then over the plateau down to the coastal road. Reach Wadi Shab. Take a hike up one of Oman’s scenic wadis. At the end of the wadi there is a swim through the famous keyhole into the secluded world thrilling of fantasy. On the way back you stop at Fins Beach with its white sandy beach. Picnic here. Relax a while before returning to Muscat.
(Kindly note that the wadi is strewn with rocks and pebbles which makes walking difficult. Advisable to wear sturdy walking shoes.)
