06 Days / Trip to Southern Burma

This six days trip will able you to explore more about Mawlamyine, Hpa An, and Kyaikhtiyo as you are traveling as the locals do. During the train ride going down to the south, you will have plenty of opportunities to meet and making friends with local travelers. Visit sightseeing places at Mawlamyine and Hpa by Tuk-Tuk. It would be great memorial things to do for taking a 3-hour boat ride upstream Thanlwin river to reach Hpa an. Visit Kyaikhtiyo, one of the most famous pilgrimage sites by public bus and then return to Yangon.

Pick up points: Your hotel in Yangon/your suggested location

Day 1 Yangon- Mawlamyine (By public train)

Meet you at your hotel in Yangon. Transfer to central train station for your train bound for Mawlamyine.

Stay overnight at your hotel in Mawlamyine.

Day 2 Mawlamyine city tour (By Tuk-tuk)

The local market, substantial reclining Buddha, the oldest colonial churches, Strand road, and Kyaikthalan pagoda

Stay overnight at your hotel in Mawlamyine.

Day 3 Mawlamyine – Hpa An (By private/public small boat)

Transfer to jetty for your boat ride to Hpa An (3 hours).Free time in the evening at Hpa an.

Stay overnight at your hotel at Hpa an.

Day 4 Hpa An sightseeing tour (By Tuk-tuk)

Sadden cave, Kawgun cave, Bat cave, Kayin ethnic villages, and Kawkalat.

Stay overnight at your hotel at Hpa an.

Day 5 Hpa An –Kyaikhtiyo (By public coach)

Take a public coach to Kin pun Base camp and then take a truck to go Kyaikhtiyo.

Stay overnight at your hotel at Kinpun Base camp.

Day 6 Kyaikhtiyo - Yangon. (By public coach)

Take a public coach from Kin Pun base camp to Yangon.
