Trip Summary
Day 1 Padang – transfer Maninjau village
• 08:00 a.m start our trip from Padang city towards Maninajau village, the journey from Padang to Bukittinggi takes approximately 4 hours
• Visiting Bukittinggi town
• Proceed with lunch at the local restaurant
• Continue to Maninjau with a brief stop-visit viewpoint of Manijau Lake
• Check in at our accommodation ( eco house near the lake) expected to arrive at night
• Procced dinner
Day 2 stay in Maninjau and joint activity with inhabitants
• In the morning enjoy the typical scene in the village, after breakfast and doing some preparation it’s time to join a local family to experience the local life and culture. The activities to be conducted related to the Minangkabau traditional culture such as how to plow rice fields (villagers use both machines and animals often buffalo ) for the prosperity of the Minang people and learning with the local community how to plant even harvesting In the paddy ricefields
• Visiting fisherman's village near the lake
• Enjoy/relax Maninjau Lake
Day 3 Maninjau village – Harau valley
• After breakfast, prepare for leaving Harau Valley
• Continue our trip to Harau via Bukittinggi ( about 4 hours)
• Visiting Grand Canyon Bukittinggi, panorama, and local market,
• Proceed lunch in Bukittinggi
• After lunch continue our trip to Harau Valley
• Check in at our accommodation ( Eco house bungalow ) Abdi Homestay
• Evening and dinner
Day 4 Activities with inhabitants and trekking in the Harau Valley jungle
• Breakfast ( enjoy Harau Valley views, surrounded by rice fields
• Transfer to Harau village and trek to Harau Valley jungle, and explore 1000 caves
• Back to the village, proceed to lunch at a local family house
• Back to our accommodation, take a little rest
• Continue joining with local farmers visiting palm sugar-making
• Back to our accommodation
• Evening and dinner
Day 5 Harau Valley – King’s Palace - Padang
• Leaving Harau Valley back to Padang
• Visiting Minangkabau king’s palace
• Arrival in Padang and check in at the hotel.
