The Jewish history tour of Riga

There are deep, tragic, but also interesting history of Riga Jews. This excursion will be an acquaintance with the history and destinies of the Riga Jews in the time of excursion through the monuments of Jewish culture and heritage. Distinguished Jewish philosophers of the 20th century, Yeshayahu Leibovich and Sir Isaiah Berlin, film director Sergej Eizenstein, world chess champion Mikhail Tal and photographer Philippe Halsman have been living here. Several beautiful Art Nouveau buildings was designed by architect Michail Eizenstein. It is possible to visit the Riga Synagogue (Peitav Shul) and also several memorial places connected with Nazi time.
