Full Day Trip, Garni temple, Geghard monastery, Khor-Virap

Dear guests, leaving behind the capital Yerevan we will head to the remarkable monastery of Khor-Virap, nestled in the heart of the Ararat plain this unique cradle of Armenian church resides under the gaze of the biblical mountain Ararat. After the discovery of Khor-Virap monastery we will continue to the mountainous province of Kotayk in order to visit the only survived pagan temple in Armenia the Garni temple, a unique witness of the rich Hellenistic culture in Armenia. Not far from Garni village we will visit the spectacular monastery of Geghard, surrounded by charming cliffs. This trip includes as well a walking tour in the Azat canyon a mesmerising gem of the Armenian landscape.
