Durres and Rodoni Cape

Being an Ilirian settlement at the shores of the Adriatic wasn’t that easy at the time. Colonized from Hellenes and conquered by the Romans, Durres today has one of the largest amphitheatre in Balkan Peninsula and the richest archeological town in Albania. Redon is the Illyrian sea God and the peninsula protected the sailors along the Adriatic. The Church of St. Andon is a pleasant and quiet place to visit, surrounded by bunkers to remember the Cold War in Albania
