Chitwan National Park Activities:

Elephant Safari:-

At Chitwan National Park, an elephant safari is one of the most popular activities that tourists enjoy. On an elephant's back, you go through the forest in search of animals, birds, and reptiles. Your trained naturalist and an expert mahout will accompany you as they take you deep within the park to make sure you get the most out of your elephant safari and see as many species as you can.

a Jeep Safari

Another fantastic activity to observe animals in Chitwan National Park is a jeep safari.

For people who don't want to ride elephants on a safari, it's also the greatest choice.

Your own naturalist guide will accompany you on a Jeep tour as you go deep into the forest to see uncommon species, vegetation, and fauna in their natural settings.

There are two alternatives for jeep safaris: one is a full-day safari with a private vehicle and guide, and the other is a 4-hour trip on a group-joining basis.

Boat Ride

You have an excellent chance to see gorgeous birds and crocodiles basking at riverbanks when canoeing near your accommodation. With a canoe trip, you may go smoothly on the calm Rapti River waters without having to peddle yourself because a boat driver will be accompanying the safari.

Tour of Tharu Village:-

The Tharu are an indigenous tribe of Chitwan, and they still live much as they did in the past.

You may observe their everyday activities, the homes they reside in, and their community on a cultural village visit.

You gain a short understanding of Tharu culture and traditions via the trip.

Visit Center of Elephant Breeding:-

A breeding facility for elephants is situated closer to Chitwan National Park.

This center was developed in order to expand the number of elephants because they are endangered in Nepal.

Visit the elephant breeding facility to hear about the efforts being made to increase the pachyderm population and to view more elephants and their babies.

Exhibition of Traditional Tharu Culture

It's an additional worthwhile feature of the Chitwan Safari excursion.

You may watch them perform their cultural program, which includes singing, dancing, and notably the Tharu Stick Dancing, in a presentation where they will be costumed in colorful traditional clothes.

Bird Observation:-

For serious bird watchers and bird enthusiasts, Chitwan National Park is paradise.

Many permanent and migratory bird species may be seen in the park.

The ideal place to watch and learn about different uncommon bird species is there.

In addition to its permanent species, Sauraha receives a large number of migratory birds every winter, some of which travel thousands of kilometers from as far away as Russia.

The National park has designated specific zones for bird observation.

Giant Hornbills, Lesser Floricans, and Paradise Flycatchers can all be seen on an early morning stroll in the forest and along the Rapti River.
