The harbour side township, north shore beaches, garden sculptures - an Art lover’s haven
Highlights | We start the day with a visit to Mt. Eden to take in panoramic views of the Auckland region, then we head across to the Auckland Harbour Bridge to North Shore, visiting the harbourside village of Devonport. Walk the main street lined w. quaint and interesting shopping, and enjoy a coffee. at one of the many cafes.
Close by is North Head - a short walk to the top, offering lovely views back to the City CBD and the waterfront suburbs.
Leaving North Head, we will drive part of the coastal suburb route before rejoining the northern motorway for our journey north to Matakana, with our destination being Sculptureum - a sculpture park garden and galleries featuring over 800 pieces of art.
Lunch can be enjoyed at either their casual cafe or award-winning restaurant.
