Mount Kenya 8-day technical Climb itinerary program goes as follows:

Day 1: Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya and transfer to your hotel, Nairobi where you will put up for overnight stay - Bed/Breakfast

Meet your guide and discuss the itinerary for the trip on a proper briefing.

You will be expected to be ready with your gears, packed for the mountain.

Day 2: Mt Kenya base

Drive to Chogoria town, which is the starting point for the climb. Chogoria town, Kenya

Hike to Mackinder's Camp (2,960m). Overnight stay at Mackinder's Full board

Day 3:

Acclimatization day at Mackinder's Camp. Go for a hike around the camp or explore the surrounding area. Relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. Overnight stay here- FB

Day 4:

Hike to Minto's Hut (4,200m).

This is a challenging hike, so take your time and enjoy the views. The trek takes up 8 kms

Overnight stay at Minto's Hut and settle in for the night.

Day 5:Nelion Peak (5,188m)

Summit day for Nelion. Start early and climb slowly to avoid altitude sickness.

The climb is technical and challenging, but the views from the summit are worth it. Later descend to Minto's Hut for the night.

Day 6:

Summit day for Batian Peak (5,199m).

Batian is the highest peak on Mount Kenya and the most challenging to climb.

Start early and climb slowly to avoid altitude sickness.

The climb is technical and requires a high level of fitness.

Descend to Minto's Hut for the night.

Day 7:

Hike down to Mackinder's Camp.

This is a long and challenging hike, but it is all downhill. Relax and enjoy your last night on the mountain.

Day 8: Hike down to Chogoria town.

Transfer to Nairobi and catch your flight home.
