Journey Itinerary

The journey typically lasts approximately 12 to 14 hours, starting and ending at your hotel in Cusco.

Morning Departure: You are picked up from your hotel (around 8:00 AM) and transferred to Poroy Station (30 minutes from Cusco).

Onboard Experience: The train departs at approximately 9:05 AM. During the 3.5-hour scenic ride through the Sacred Valley, you will enjoy:

A welcome cocktail and brunch/gourmet lunch.

Live traditional Peruvian music and dance performances.

Access to the Observation Car with an open-air balcony for panoramic Andean views.

Arrival & Tour: Arrive in Aguas Calientes around 12:24 PM. A private bus reserved for Hiram Bingham passengers takes you directly to the citadel, bypassing standard queues. You will have a 2 to 3-hour guided tour of major sites like the Temple of the Sun and Intihuatana.

Afternoon Tea: Following the tour, enjoy an exclusive Afternoon Tea at the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge, located right at the entrance of the ruins.

Evening Return: The return train departs Aguas Calientes at 5:50 PM. Onboard, you are served a gourmet 4-course dinner with fine wines, accompanied by a lively music-filled "party" atmosphere in the bar car. You arrive back at Poroy around 9:15 PM for a private transfer to your hotel.
