"The Significant Stroll" Porto walking tour
Buckle up: you are about to get to know a very old city Porto is older than the country itself. And the best way to explore this city is by walking. We will start this tour right in front of one of the many landmarks of this city: the "Lion's Square" ("Praça dos Leões", officially named Praça de Gomes Teixeira).

From here we’ll walk through other city landmarks (São Bento station, the Twin Churches, the Cathedral, etc.), the numerous quiet side lanes, lookout spots, and peek into small streets smelling like cod or tripes – yes you read it well!), find out more about local cafes and shops attended by the locals – to sum it up: I want you to enjoy the city through the eyes of a Portuense (Porto local).
We’ll end the tour in one of the most popular districts of the city with its café terraces and picturesque corners: the Ribeira. Here we’ll have the chance to contemplate the iconic Louis bridge.
