Exciting LUSAKA to LIVINGSTONE Overland Adventure Safari Tour - 6 Days

Narration (information tip): This Tour cost U$Dollar 850 per person. Travelling by road from Lusaka, the capital city and main international airport hub of Zambia to Livingstone, the tourist capital of Zambia is an enriching personal travel experience.

This adventurous overland tour safari is available throughout the whole year. It is done thrice in a week on every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays commencing from Lusaka. In this particular tour, travel time between Lusaka and Livingstone, a distance of 485.4 kms is two (2) days. This is so because of some exciting stopover excursions along the way for maximum tour enjoyment and pleasure.

Guaranteed Group Travel Departure.

We do not wait for tour seats to fill up to the required number. All our departure dates on this tour are 100% guaranteed to take off on the stated date regardless of the number of people that have booked. The set base default arrangement is "Group Tour Arrangement" where other people will join you in the safari tour.

Private Tour

A specially designed tour can also be offered to individuals wanting either a private travelling arrangement. For a private tour, this means that you have only people already well known to you such family members, close friends or members of a special interest group in your company travelling together from Lusaka to Livingstone.

Note: We charge an additional 15% extra on the standard price on every person undertaking a private tour.

Solo Traveller

For a solo tour arrangement, you will be all by yourself as a single traveller accompanied by our tour guide and driver. In certain instances, you will be joined on your trip with other solo travellers on a similar travel arrangement like yours. However, some wildlife viewing activities in the Parks are run by the lodges/camps themselves.

In addition, all water sport activities in the Victoria Falls in Livingstone are shared with many other people. At such times, kindly expect to share safari vehicles or water sport activities/facilities in the Victoria Falls with other people though you travelled as a private traveller with us.

NOTE: Mandatory single supplement charge.

Solo travellers must pay 20% single supplement extra for a private room or when travelling alone.

Below is the Full itinerary

Day 1: Depart from Lusaka to Choma, provincial capital town of Southern Province.

Travel advice: So, from where ever you will be staying in Lusaka, on this morning of day 1, kindly find your way to StayEasy Lusaka Hotel (GPS INFORMATION S 15 24' 10'' E 28 17' 7'') in the central business district (CBD) of Lusaka.

NB: We do not arrange and provide pre-arrival accommodation in Lusaka on Day 1.

Program of activities on day one (1)

Phase I

06:30 am: This whole journey will start from the beautiful and centrally located StayEasy Lusaka Hotel.

07:30 am: Commencement of the tour: Thereafter all the travel formalities, you will board the tour vehicle and travel by road from Lusaka to Choma via the T-2 Kafue Road and the T-1 Livingstone Road.

09:50 am: After Kafue town, we will head to one of Zambian’s unique natural landmarks; the Kafue River and state-of-art Kafue Road Bridge.

Second stop-over: Munali Pass National Monument

13:20 pm: Arrive in Monze:

17:30 pm: Arrive in Choma and enjoy your dinner.

21:30 pm: Spend an overnight sleep over in Choma.

Day 2: Start off from Choma to Livingstone with a stop-over in Kalomo before arriving in Livingstone.

08:00 am – Visit the Choma Museum and Craft Center;

Visit and tour the Kalundu Mound near Kalomo.

2. Site of the first Standard Chartered Bank of North-Western Rhodesia

07: 00 pm: - Check-in at any good tourism compliant accommodation facility in Livingstone.

09: 30 pm - Eat sumptuous dinner.

Night life: Those interested in night life. You are free to go out to any night club around Livingstone city and enjoy beverages on your own cost.

23:00 am: Retire for a goodnight sleep.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Rhino walk Safari in Mosi-oa-Tunya Park in Livingstone

Afternoon Activity: You will be picked from the reception of the lodge. You will then be transferred for your exciting, relaxing and splendid sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River above the mighty Victoria Falls aboard a medium-sized boat cruise.

Day 4: Livingstone: Tour the mighty Victoria Falls and thereafter do a village tour in real-time mode

16:00 hrs: Next activity: Village Tour to Mukuni Village. Experience the African Cultural Lifestyle in Real-time at Mukuni Village in Livingstone Zambia.

Day 5: Open Day: You will do various activities in Livingstone or do a Day Trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana at your own cost

Narration: (information tip):- This is an Open and Free Day. This means you are free to do any other preferred activities of your choice at your own cost. This can be either within Livingstone or you may decide to go for a Day trip to Chobe National Park in neighbouring Botswana.

Day 5: Final Departure to your next destination or home.
