Day 2: Explore Kigali

Embark on a historical exploration of Kigali, visiting landmarks that bear witness to the city's colonial past, post-independence struggles, and remarkable resilience. Highlights include the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Campaign Against Genocide Museum, and vibrant local markets.

Day 3: Journey to Akagera National Park

After breakfast, depart for Akagera National Park, home to diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Check into the exquisite hotel or campsite and prepare for a thrilling adventure.

Day 4: Hot Air Balloon & Boat Cruise

Experience the magic of Akagera from above with a hot air balloon safari, offering panoramic views of the park's majestic scenery and abundant wildlife. Later, embark on a serene boat cruise on Lake Ihema, where you'll encounter hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive

Set out on a full-day game drive through Akagera, seeking out the "Big Five" and other iconic African wildlife amidst the park's picturesque savannas and woodlands.

Day 6: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Bid farewell to Akagera as you journey to Volcanoes National Park, a haven for endangered mountain gorillas. Check into the hotel in Musanze and prepare for an extraordinary encounter.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking

Day 8: Dian Fossey & Cultural Village

Day 9: Golden Monkey Trekking & Transfer to Gisenyi

Day 13: Return to Kigali

Day 14: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight, carrying with you cherished memories of Rwanda's natural wonders and warm hospitality.
