Nevyansk - the Demidovs' patrimony and the Leaning Tower
The town of Nevyansk, one of the oldest mining centers in the Urals, is situated just an hour and a half drive away from Yekaterinburg. During the excursion, we will trace the history of the Urals and the town itself, the history of the Demidovs - the famous dynasty of plantowners and the “uncrowned kings” of the Urals, visit the unique Leaning Tower, get acquainted with the life of Nevyansk merchants of the 19th century, see ancient churches and visit a pottery workshop in the neighboring village of Tavolgi.
La ville de Nevyansk, l'un des centres miniers les plus anciens de l'Oural, est située à seulement une heure et demie de route d'Ekaterinbourg. Au cours de l'excursion, nous retracerons l'histoire de l'Oural et de la ville elle-même, l'histoire des Demidoffs - la célèbre dynastie des propriétaires d'usines et des « rois sans couronne » de l'Oural, nous visiterons l'unique tour penchée, ferons connaissance avec la vie de Marchands de Nevyansk du XIXe siècle, nous voyerons des anciennes églises et travaillerons un petit peu dans un atelier de poterie dans le village voisin de Tavolgui :)
Город Невьянск - один из старейших горнозаводских центров Урала - расположен в полутора часах езды от Екатеринбурга. В ходе экскурсии мы проследим историю Урала и самого Невьянска, историю династии основателей завода Демидовых - "некоронованных королей" Урала, посетим уникальный памятник архитектуры - Наклонную башню, познакомимся с жизнью невьянских купцов 19 века, старинными храмами и заедем в гончарную мастерскую расположенного по соседству села Таволги.
