From Luxor to Dendera and Abydos
The ancient Egyptian civilization left us not only pyramids. Temple of the goddess Hathor. In Egyptian mythology, Hathor is considered one of the most important goddesses. She was depicted as a cow with a solar disk between her horns or as a woman with cow ears and horns. Hathor is the goddess of the sky, love, motherhood, fertility, patroness of joy, fun and dancing. You will visit the place of worship of this goddess, in Dendera, where a temple full of relief images of amazing quality was erected in her honor.
Abydos. One of the most ancient cities in Egypt and the world, the center of the cult of the god of the dead Osiris. Its main attraction is the funeral temple of Seti I, pharaoh of the 19th dynasty, father of the famous pharaoh-builder Ramses II.
