" Agora" means the old shopping market in ancient greek times! We will be visiting outdoor part of the Agora which is one of the unique example in the history. Izmir old name "Smyrna" had been the crossroads since the ancient times! In the Late Ottoman times when Izmir became again important port city then filled with the inns, shoes,textile, jewellary, food shops, homes, synagogues , restaurants,mosques, churches , fountains !
