Braga - the Roman and Baroque city
Braga is considered the religious heart of the country, a splendid baroque city with a long history dating back to its Roman foundation in the 1st century B.C. It was in Braga that Portugal's first cathedral was built in 1089, and the city was also an important center of the Galicia region. It is also known by the name of the "city of 3 sanctuaries", one of which is a favorite destination for tourists: the Santuario do Bom Jesus
The tour includes:
