Dagala Thousand Lakes Trek
The Dagala Thousand Lakes Trek is a historic high-altitude trail, renowned for its shimmering lakes and breathtaking Himalayan vistas. Spanning five days, the trek ascends to 4500 m, offering panoramic views of peaks such as Jomolhari, Masang Gang, Jichu Drake, Tiger Mountain, Tshenda Gang, and even glimpses of Mount Everest. Along the route, trekkers traverse alpine meadows, flower-filled landscapes, and bird-rich areas, while encountering nomadic yak herder camps that provide a glimpse into Bhutan’s unique traditional lifestyle.
