3-Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking via Kigali, Rwanda

Embark on a 3-day gorilla trekking trip in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda, starting from Kigali, Rwanda. Day 1

Kigali, Rwanda Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast at your hotel in Kigali, Rwanda, your professional safari guide will meet and greet you. They have extensive knowledge of trips to Rwanda and Uganda and will brief you about your 3-day gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

First, you will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial to pay your respects to the victims of the 1994 Rwandan genocide against the Tutsi. This visit will last approximately one and a half to two hours. Following this poignant experience, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda.

Your overnight accommodation will be at Bakiga Lodge or a similar establishment.

Day 2

Uganda Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the ranger station for a briefing on the dos and don'ts of interacting with the gorillas. Afterward, you will be accompanied by a senior ranger guide as you hike into the forest in search of the gorillas. Once you locate them, you will have the opportunity to stay with them for one hour. After the experience, you will return to the lodge for an overnight stay at Bakiga Lodge or a similar accommodation.

Day 3

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Transfer to Kigali, Rwanda

After a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kigali, leaving behind the magnificent forest and volcanic mountains home to the gorillas. This marks the conclusion of the 3-day Bwindi Impenetrable National Park gorilla trekking tour via Kigali, Rwanda. Upon your arrival in Kigali, your driver-guide will be informed of the drop-off point, which can be your hotel or the airport, depending on your outbound departure time.
