A Sightseeing Tour of Tangier: The Jewel of Northern Morocco
Upon arrival in Tangier, you'll feel like you've entered a city steeped in history and adventure. Our tour begins at the Kasbah of Tangier, the old quarter overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, where narrow alleys and ancient walls tell the tales of the civilizations that passed through here.
From the Kasbah, we walk towards the old city, where the aromas of spices mingle with the sea, and the souks teem with artisans and merchants. We can stop at one of the traditional cafés for a cup of mint tea while observing the daily lives of the city's residents.
Next, we head to the Cave of Hercules, one of Tangier's natural wonders, where the Atlantic Ocean bears witness to the legend. Here, you can contemplate the famous cave opening, resembling the continent of Africa, and enjoy the sound of the waves lapping the rocks.
Before sunset, we head to Cape Spartel, the point where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. From the top of the lighthouse, the horizon appears endless, making for an ideal photo opportunity.
We conclude our tour with a delicious dinner at one of the Corniche restaurants, where chefs serve authentic Tangier dishes such as grilled fish and northern tajine, with the sea breeze adding a special flavor to the meal.
