Marrakech Women’s Cultural Discovery Tour
This tour is for women visiting Marrakech and wanting to see the city from a women's perspective. We will start our walking tour at a beautiful park called Arsat Moulay Abdesslam, then stop by the Koutoubia Mosque - the oldest in the city. There, we will enjoy its unique architectural design before crossing the main square, Jemaa el-Fnaa, the cultural center of the city for centuries. We will continue walking deep into the labyrinth of alleyways in the medina to visit a hidden museum called "the Women’s Museum," the first of its kind in North Africa dedicated to women in Morocco. Additionally, we will explore the artisans’ section to learn about traditional crafts like leatherwork, woodwork, metalwork, and dyeing. By the end, we will take a relaxing break at a Berber pharmacy to learn about traditional spices, natural oils, cosmetic products, perfumes, and soaps.
