*Day 1: Arusha – Momella Gate – Miriakamba Hut (2,514m)*
- Departure from Arusha in the morning
- Register at Momella Gate (1,500m)
- Trek through forest zone with chances to see giraffes, buffaloes, colobus monkeys
- Hike duration: 4–5 hours
- Dinner and overnight at *Miriakamba Hut*

*Day 2: Miriakamba Hut – Saddle Hut (3,570m)*
- Trek through forest and moorland zones
- Great views of the Meru crater and Mount Kilimanjaro
- Optional afternoon hike to Little Meru (3,820m) for acclimatization
- Hike duration: 3–4 hours
- Dinner and overnight at *Saddle Hut*

*Day 3: Saddle Hut – Summit (Socialist Peak 4,566m) – Miriakamba Hut*
- Wake up around 1:30 am for summit attempt
- Steep hike to Rhino Point (3,800m), then to Cobra Point (4,350m), and finally Socialist Peak
- Enjoy sunrise and breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro and the crater
- Descend back to Saddle Hut for brunch, then down to *Miriakamba Hut*
- Hike duration: 10–12 hours total

- Leisurely descent through scenic trails
- Return to Momella Gate for pickup
- Drive back to Arusha/Moshi
