This tour combines nature, Medival history and Churches of Ethiopian Orthodox religion. The trip is going on through world heritage sites listed under UNESCO based on their significances.
ITINERARY
Day 1- Addis Abeba
Arrive Addis Ababa and pick you up at the airport or hotel then balance of the day, take a city tour and visit National museum of Ethiopia, Trinity Cathedral, Markato, the biggest open air market in Africa, mount Entoto and more. O/n hotel
Day 2-Addis Ababa-Gondar
Early breakfast then fly to Gondar. The guide waiting for you outside the airport's terminal with the vehicle then drive to your hotel. After short break, start the city tour and visit the royal enclosure equiped with both ruins and well preserved castles, bath of king Fasiledes & Debrebirhan Sillassie church. Based on your time, visit the Felasha village (5ks outside of Gondar) where Ethiopian Jewish communites used to live. O/n hotel.
Day 3- Gondar- Debark- Gondar
Breakfast then go for a day trip to Simen Mountaints NP. with short stop in Debark town where the HQ of Simen mountains NP is located. Do some paper works in Debark, pick local guides and scouts up then head to the mountain. Balace of the day, Walk in the park, enjoy with the beautiful land scape and the endemic Gelada Baboons. Late afternoon back to Gindar via the former village of Ethiopian Jews. O/n AG hotel or similar
Day 4- Gondar-Addis Ababa
Have breakfast then heading to the airport for your flight to Addis Ababa.
