Gobustan and mud volcanoes

At the beginning of the tour, you will hear a story and see the route taken by Strabo and the world's most active mud volcano, Lokbatan! Next, you will visit the medieval Sangachal Caravanserai, built in 1439. 70 km from Baku is the prehistoric Gobustan Reserve with its unique rock paintings dating back to 22,000 BC and later. There, a 20-minute drive away, you will visit the unique mud volcanoes of Absheron peninsula.
