Bagan Tour
Bagan is the heart land of Myanmar people, Pilgrimage Centre, group of over 3000 ancient monuments. Bagan is the most important historical site and the richest archaeological site in Southeast Asia. Bagan, probably founded around 9th century AD, belong to the 11th to the 13th centuries AD. Now a days we can see and study architectu, mural painting and stucco curving which dates back from 11th Century to 13th Century.
One Day Tour Itinerary
1. Could you start Manisithu Market to see colourful Vegetable.
2. We will visit to the most significant pagodas and temples of Bagan including SHWEZIGONE PGODA build by King Anawratha in the early 11th century as a religious monument to newly introduced Theravada Buddhism.
3. GU PYAUK GYI, a temple with superb murals of Jataka scenes.
4. KHAY MIN GA SMALL TEMPLE GROUP, to go around to see some mural scenes and good place to take Photo.
5. HTILOMINLO TEMPLE, 13th century temple and to see original stucco curving from outside of monument. Lunch at local restaurant with great taste of local foods.
6. And then, we will proceed and visit one of Myanmar's most trussured handicrafts a LACQUERWARE craftsmen's workshop in nearby MYINKABA village.
7. ANANDA TEMPLE with four magnificent standing Buddha images. And ANANDA TEMPLE is the best architecture temple in Bagan.
8. MANUHA TEMPLE build in Mon style in 1059 and we can see the BIGGEST SITTING BUDDHA STATUE.
9. Dhammayangyi Temple. It is a mssive later period temple with the finest brickwork in Bagan.
10. We will go to museum of painting called Sulamuni Temple. Study mural paintings dating back from 13th Century 16th Century. At the end of tour, We will watching sunset from the best view point.
