3 Days Desert Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga
Day 1: Marrakech → Atlas Mountains → Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley
Begin your journey from Marrakech crossing the spectacular Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient kasbahs and film history. Continue to Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Desert,” before heading through the beautiful landscapes of the Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by dramatic rock formations and traditional Berber villages.
Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Canyon → Merzouga
After breakfast in Dades Valley, we drive through scenic landscapes and Berber villages toward Todra Gorge, where you’ll enjoy a short walk between the impressive canyon walls and have time for photos.
We then continue to Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara. Upon arrival, you’ll ride camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach your desert camp, enjoy sunset views, dinner, and an overnight stay under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga → Draa Valley → Anti Atlas Mountains → Marrakech
Today we depart the Sahara and travel through the scenic Draa Valley, known for its vast palm groves and traditional kasbahs.
We continue across the rugged landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, passing small Berber towns along the way. In the afternoon, we cross the High Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech, where the tour ends with drop-off at your accommodation.
