Itinerary

08:00 AM – Pick-up from Muscat

Meet your driver/guide at your hotel or preferred location in Muscat. Begin the drive towards the interior region.

10:00 AM – Nizwa Souq (Stop: 60 minutes)

Explore the traditional Nizwa Souq, one of the oldest markets in Oman. Discover stalls filled with silver jewelry, pottery, spices, dates, and handicrafts. A perfect place to shop and experience Omani culture.

11:00 AM – Nizwa Fort (Stop: 2 hours – Admission included)

Visit the iconic Nizwa Fort, built in the 17th century with its famous circular tower. Learn about its history and enjoy panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains.

01:00 PM – Zukait Tombs (Stop: 60 minutes)

Head to the remarkable Zukait Tombs, Bronze Age beehive-shaped stone tombs dating back more than 3,000 years. A UNESCO archaeological highlight that offers insight into Oman’s ancient civilization.

02:30 PM – Birkat Al Mouz Ruins (Stop: 30 minutes)

Explore the historic ruins of Birkat Al Mouz, an abandoned village at the foot of Jabal Akhdar. Walk through the old mud-brick houses and enjoy the heritage feel.

03:00 PM – Falaj Irrigation System (Stop: 30 minutes)

03:30 PM – Birkat Al Mouz (second stop: 30 minutes)

Return to Birkat Al Mouz to explore the surrounding plantations and enjoy a relaxed walk through the date palm groves nourished by the falaj system.

04:30 PM – Drive Back to Muscat
