Tiles are one of Portugal’s most beautiful traditions and one of my greatest passions. After more than ten years of guiding, I learned the best way to understand them is to take part in the process.

Program Summary

• Visit some of Lisbon’s most iconic tile-covered buildings while learning about the city’s history and Moorish influence.

• Explore the National Tile Museum and its unique collection.

• Take part in a one-hour workshop where you paint your own tile, watching it slowly come to life.

• Enjoy lunch at a traditional Portuguese restaurant.
