Durata 8 ore

Begin your journey with a picturesque train ride from Bern into the heart of the Bernese Oberland. As the landscape transitions from rolling hills to dramatic mountain peaks, you’ll arrive in the magical valley of Lauterbrunnen, known for its towering cliffs and 72 waterfalls.

Start your exploration in the village center, strolling through traditional Swiss chalets and peaceful alpine scenery. Walk toward the iconic Staubbach Falls, one of Europe’s highest free-falling waterfalls, cascading spectacularly down a sheer rock wall. Depending on the season, you can also take an easy valley walk to admire additional waterfalls and lush green meadows.

From Lauterbrunnen, continue your journey via train toward Wengen or directly toward Grindelwald, enjoying some of the most scenic railway views in Switzerland. As you approach Grindelwald, the dramatic north face of the Eiger mountain dominates the skyline, offering breathtaking photo opportunities.

In Grindelwald, wander through the charming alpine village filled with wooden chalets, mountain cafés, and panoramic viewpoints. You can choose to enjoy free time exploring the village, relaxing at a terrace with mountain views, or taking an optional cable car ride such as:

Grindelwald–First Gondola for high-alpine panoramas

Eiger Express for closer views of the Eiger’s north face

Tissot Cliff Walk for an unforgettable scenic platform experience

After your time in the mountains, enjoy lunch or a coffee while taking in the glacier-carved valleys and snow-capped peaks surrounding Grindelwald.

Later, begin the relaxing return journey by train back to Bern, passing through peaceful Swiss countryside, charming mountain villages, and emerald-green meadows. You’ll end the day with unforgettable memories of two of Switzerland’s most iconic alpine destinations: Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald.
