4 Days 3 Nights Mikumi National Park & Udzungwa Mountains

• Catch an earliest SGR Train at 8:00 am, and depart to Town of Morogoro, arriving at 09:25 am.

• Departure to Mikumi: On arrival, picked up by your driver-guide and depart to Mikumi National (approx. 2 hours’ drive).

• Afternoon Game Drive: Explore Mikumi National Park and encounter wildlife such as buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, zebras, lions, wildebeests, antelope and more.

• Accommodation: Overnight stay at Camp Bastian

• Meal Plan: lunch and dinner

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive at Mikumi National Park

• Full Day Game Drive: Embark on a full-day game drive through Mikumi National Park. The park’s expansive Mkata floodplain is renowned for its abundant wildlife and open vistas, making it ideal for game viewing and photography.

• Accommodation: Overnight stay at Camp Bastian

• Meal Plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 3: Depart to Udzungwa Mountains National Park and Hike to the Popular Sanje Waterfalls

• Depart to Udzungwa Mountains: Drive to Udzungwa Mountains (approx. 2 hours’ drive)

• A Hike to Sanje Waterfalls: Hiking through the beautiful forest trails of the Udzungwa Mountains to Sanje Waterfalls. Udzungwa is the critical habitat for unique primates like the Udzungwa red colobus monkey and Sanje crested mangabey, the park is renowned for its spectacular mountains’ scenery, grasslands, rocks, forests and its dramatic waterfalls.

• Accommodation: Transfer to the lodge, and spend the overnight at Camp Bastian

• Meal Plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 4: Maasai Cultural Tour, Transfer to SGR Train Station and Depart to Dar es Salaam

• Maasai Cultural Tour: This enriching cultural experience offers a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the Maasai people. You'll learn about their customs, dress, and social structure, and have the chance to interact with community members in an authentic setting.

• Transfer to SGR Train Station: Later, transfer to SGR Train Station (approx. 2 hours’ drive) to catch your train at 16:25 hrs and depart to Dar es Salaam, arriving at 18:10 hrs.
