Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m/ 4593ft) - pickup as per your arrival time - transfer to hotel - trip meeting at Green Valley Nepal Treks office

At Tribhuwan International Airport, our representative will receive you. He will provide you with a private ride to the hotel and help you check in. After a long journey, you may either relax at your hotel or venture outside to discover some of Kathmandu's beautiful locations. At nighttime, you will meet your guide, the guide will supply any equipment that is lacking as well as information about the Ghorepani Poonhill Trek Itinerary.

Day 2:Take Tourist Bus from Kathmandu (1400m/ 4593ft) to Pokhara (822m/ 2696ft)

After breakfast, you will board a tourist bus and travel 205 kilometers/ 127 miles from Kathmandu to the stunning Pokhara Valley to start Ghorepani Trekking. As you travel, you will see breathtaking landscapes of terraced farms, small towns, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Lamjung Himal, and several more highlands. After six to seven hours of bus travel, you will eat lunch. You have a choice between touring and relaxing in your hotel in Pokhara. With so many stores, pubs, and restaurants, Lakeside offers a wealth of sights and activities. Another option is to take a 30-minute flight to Pokhara, after which you can visit the city famed for its stunning beauty and accommodations near lakes.

Day 3:Drive from Pokhara (822m/ 2696ft) to Birethanti (1263m/ 4143ft ) then Trek to Ulleri (1960m/ 6430ft)

The travel to Birethanti from Pokhara takes roughly 1.5 hours. Your Poon Hill Trek will begin in Birethanti, where you can reach by following Modi Khola. You will pass numerous local villages, teahouses, beautiful green rolling hills, rivers, and locals throughout the journey. After passing through the charming village of Hile, you will arrive in Tikhedhunga. The trail then starts to ascend pretty steeply on a stone staircase once you cross the suspension bridge. You will be in the sizable Magar village of Ulleri, where you can get a sight of Hiunchuli and Mount Annapurna South.

Day 4:Trek from Ulleri (1960m/ 6430ft) to Ghorepani (2880m/ 9448ft)

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek Route from Ulleri to Banthanti travels through rhododendron and oak woodlands. You will arrive at Nangge Thanti by following Bhurungdi Khola side by side. The portion of the adventure where you spend the majority of the day trekking through the jungle will be really exciting. If you schedule your Poon Hill Trek for the spring, you will see lots of rhododendron blooms, many wild birds and animals, and a stunning vista of numerous snow-capped mountains. You can reach Ghorepani after a short hike through the jungle. It's wonderful to stay in Ghorepani and enjoy the breathtaking views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna.

Day 5:Trek from Ghorepani (2880m/ 9448ft) to Poon Hill (3210m/ 10,531ft) for sunrise view - return to Ghorepani then hike to Tadapani (2630m/ 8628ft)

From Ghorepani, a short trek will take you to Poonhill, where you can enjoy a magnificent panorama of the mountain ranges and a stunning sunrise. Poon Hill is the greatest vantage point along this Ghorepani and Poon Hill Trek Journey and is undoubtedly a photographer's aspiration. You can walk to the top of the hill, which is at a height of 3210m/ 10,531ft, in about an hour. From there, you can see the Himalayas, including the Annapurna, Bahari Shikhar, Hiuchuli, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and other peaks. After capturing enough breathtaking images of the sun rising over the mountains, you will return to the guesthouse in Ghorepani for breakfast before heading towards Tadapani. The Ghorepani and Annapurna Circuit Trek is connected by a lovely woodland track that passes through forests of oak and rhododendron trees and leads to Deurali. Banthanti is reached by a route that descends through rhododendron woodland. Then the way ascends and passes through a cane field to get to Bhurungdi Khola, after which it climbs once again via a series of steep woods for 20 minutes before arriving at Tadapani, another lovely settlement that offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna peaks.

Day 6:Trek from Tadapani (2630m/ 8628ft) to Ghandruk (1940m/ 6364ft) then take Bus/Jeep to Pokhara (822m/ 2696ft)

Ghorepani with Poon Hill Trek Journey from Tadapani to Ghandruk through oak and rhododendron woodland is relatively easy. Along the walk, wildflowers may be seen, which enhances the region's remarkable attractiveness. You will carry on your journey via the Baisi Kharka to Ghandruk. Once you get to Ghandruk, you will be able to see Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Machapuchare, Annapurna III, and Hiunchuli. A museum and a Buddhist monastery are among their many cultural attractions. Its distinctive architectural design, with the majority of homes having stone walls and slate-tiled roofs, is what most fascinates people. It is now the end of your trek. It takes around three hours to go from Ghandruk to Pokhara by bus or vehicle.

Day 7:Ride Tourist Deluxe Bus from Pokhara (822m/ 2696ft) to Kathmandu (1400m/ 4593ft) - bus leave at 7:00 AM from Pokhara

You will board a tourist deluxe bus this morning after waking up in Pokhara to travel back to Kathmandu, which will conclude the 8-day Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. The 205 kilometers/127 miles that separate Pokhara from Kathmandu follows the enthralling Marsyangdi River and then the Trishuli River. The route from Pokhara to Kathmandu passes through various attractive villages, including Damauli bazaar, Dumre bazaar, Mugling bazaar, and others. The route also offers breathtaking vistas of hills, rivers, and mountains covered in snow. When you arrive in the valley, a member of our crew will be waiting to welcome you and show you to your accommodation so you can freshen up before spending your final evening in Nepal shopping or touring Thamel.
