Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)

Airport pickup & hotel check-in.

Shopping for trekking gear.

Evening briefing on the climb and welcome dinner.

Accommodation: 3-star hotel in Thamel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Permit Preparation

Obtain Kyajo Ri climbing permit (passport, 3 photos, insurance proof required).

Sightseeing: Pashupatinath Temple → Boudhanath Stupa → Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) → Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Free time in Thamel for gear shopping.

Accommodation: 3-star hotel in Thamel.

Meals: Breakfast.

Day 3: Flight to Lukla (2840m) → Trek to Phakding (2652m)

Early morning flight to Lukla (scenic mountain views).

Trek to Phakding (3–4 hours), first night on the trail.

Accommodation: Tea house/Lodge.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4: Phakding → Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Trek along Dudh Koshi River, pass Sagarmatha National Park checkpoint.

Views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse upon arrival at Namche.

Duration: 4–5 hours.

Accommodation: Tea house/Lodge.

Meals: B/L/D.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization & Rest

Explore short hikes: Syangboche (views of Everest & Ama Dablam), Khunde Hospital, or local visitor center.

Accommodation: Tea house/Lodge.

Meals: B/L/D.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar → Mende (3736m)

Trek through Bhote Khosi Valley, rhododendron forests.

Views of Kwangde Peak, Thamo village.

Duration: 5–6 hours.

Accommodation: Tea house/Lodge.

Meals: B/L/D.

Day 7: Mende → Kyajo Ri Base Camp (4550m)

Trek via yak track, views of Thamserku, Khumbila, Kusum Kangaru.

Base Camp setup; gear inspection.

Duration: 5–6 hours.

Day 8: Acclimatization at Base Camp

Optional short hikes for altitude adaptation.

Climbing gear preparation by Sherpa team.

Day 9: Base Camp → Camp I (5200m)

Steep rocky ascent, glacier lakes en route.

Overnight at Camp I.

Duration: 4–5 hours.

Day 10: Acclimatization & Rest at Camp I

Optional climb to Camp II and return to acclimatize.

Gear checks for summit.

Day 11: Camp I → Camp II (5700m)

Technical climb using ropes and crampons (up to 55° slopes).

Overnight at Camp II near glacier lake.

Duration: 5–6 hours.

Accommodation: Tented camp.

Day 12: Summit Day – Camp II → Kyajo Ri Peak (6180m) → Return to Camp II

Early morning start (~3 AM).

Summit before noon to avoid wind risks.

Views: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Baruntse, Ama Dablam.

Descend to Camp II.

Duration: 7–8 hours.

Accommodation: Tented camp.

Meals: B/L/D.

Day 13: Camp II → Base Camp (4550m)

Descend along same route; relax at Base Camp.

Duration: 4–5 hours.

Accommodation: Tented camp.

Meals: B/L/D.

Day 14: Base Camp → Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Descend via Mende and Thame.

Leave-no-trace principles observed.

Duration: 5–6 hours.

Accommodation: Tea house/Lodge.

Meals: B/L/D.

Day 15: Namche Bazaar → Phakding → Lukla (2800m)

Steep descent, rhododendron forests.

Celebrate completion at Lukla.

Duration: 5–6 hours.

Day 16: Lukla → Kathmandu (1400m)

Early morning flight to Kathmandu.

Rest or shopping in Thamel.

Final dinner to celebrate the trip.

Day 17: Departure

Airport transfer assistance.
