In the morning, I will pick you up from your hotel or any other pre-arranged location with a professional driver,

The drive from downtown Beijing to Simatai Great Wall takes roughly two to two and a half hours, depending on traffic. Along the way, you'll be treated to beautiful views of the Beijing countryside.

3. Visit Simatai Great Wall (Approx. 2-3 hours)

Simatai Great Wall offers a thrilling hike along its steep, narrow ridges and distinctive watchtowers. You can enjoy panoramic mountain scenery in a less crowded setting, perfect for memorable photos. The section retains its original rugged character, giving you a raw and authentic Great Wall experience.

Here are two distinct ways to experience the Simatai Great Wall:

- Cable Car Round Trip

Opt for the cable car for a relaxed and efficient visit. It quickly transports you to a higher section of the wall, saving significant time and energy. This allows you to focus your effort on exploring the most iconic watchtowers and enjoying the breathtaking panoramic views with ease, making it ideal for those seeking comfort or with limited time.

- Full Hiking Experience

Choose the full hike for the most authentic and rewarding physical challenge. Walking the entire steep and rugged path up and down lets you intimately experience the wall's original, untamed character at your own pace. It offers a profound sense of accomplishment, closer encounters with its architectural details, and access to less-visited spots along the way.

4. Lunch (Optional):

I incorporate food culture into all my tours. Discovering authentic local eats is an integral part of the journey. I’ll recommend and take you to authentic local restaurants based on your tastes. We typically enjoy a meal at a local restaurant where you can order your favorite dishes (a la carte), ensuring a genuine taste of Chinese cuisine. 5. Gubei Water Town (Approx. 2-3 hours)

Nestled at the foot of the Great Wall, Gubei Water Town is a charming getaway with stone bridges, flowing canals, and traditional courtyard houses.

Stroll along its quaint lanes to discover local crafts, savor hearty northern cuisine, and enjoy views of the surrounding mountains.

6. Drop-off (Approx. 2-2.5 hours):

Afterwards, the driver and I will take you back. We can drop you off at your hotel or at any other pre-arranged location.

-For 6-10 guests: A spacious minibus (14-17 seats).
