Safari blue tour
Safari Blue Tour is a popular full-day ocean excursion in Zanzibar, typically departing from around Fumba Village on the Southwest that combines sailing, marine wildlife, snorkeling, island stops and a seafood feast.
What the Safari Blue Tour?
Is traditional Dhow Sail: You board a traditional wooden dhow (Swahili sailing boat) and cruise into Menai Bay Conservation Area, a protected marine park with clear blue waters and small uninhabited islands.
The tour typically stops at several spots to snorkel over coral reefs teeming with tropical fish and other sea creatures, all gear is usually provided.
Sandbanks & Lagoon Swim: You’ll visit sandbanks that appear at low tide to relax, swim, sunbathe or walk around and often a natural mangrove lagoon for another swim.
Duration: About 8–9 hours from morning until late afternoon.
