Route Overview:

Day 1: Moshi – Umbwe Gate – Umbwe Cave Camp

Start your adventure through dense rainforest, trekking along the steep Umbwe trail to Umbwe Cave Camp.

Day 2: Umbwe Cave Camp – Barranco Camp

Continue climbing through moorland landscapes while enjoying spectacular views before reaching Barranco Camp.

Day 3: Barranco Camp – Karanga Camp

Conquer the famous Barranco Wall and trek through alpine desert landscapes toward Karanga Camp.

Day 4: Karanga Camp – Barafu Camp

Ascend toward Barafu Camp, your base camp before summit night. Rest and prepare for the final push.

Day 5: Barafu Camp – Summit – Second Cave

Begin your midnight summit attempt, reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise before descending via the northern side to Second Cave.

Day 6: Second Cave – Rongai Gate – Moshi

Descend through beautiful forest trails to Rongai Gate before transfer back to Moshi.

Day 7: Departure Day

Relax at your hotel or transfer to airport depending on your travel plans.
