My name is Gagat, and I am your local guide for tours of Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Semarang (for shore excursions), Central Java, and other destinations in Indonesia.

I started working in the tourism business as a tour staff member at an agency in Jakarta. Following my passion, I became an Instructor of Tour Planning and Guiding, Airfares and Ticketing at a tourism vocational school in Jakarta. I was appointed as the head of the tour department. I also had the opportunity to develop and initiate the school's travel agency as one of its revenue streams.

I learned about multicultural environments while working in HR Administration with a Non-Government Organisation in Canada. During this time, my passion for hospitality continued, and as part of my job, I was responsible for arranging regional meetings and cultural activities.

I am reasonably sure that this background and my passion will be a significant advantage in helping you prepare and execute your dream journeys. Besides my passion for showcasing my beautiful people and country, I enjoy discussing various topics where I can share the secrets of places of interest that one might never have heard before, making your trip as enjoyable as possible.

I enjoy coffee in the afternoon, spotting trains and planes, reading books, and, of course, music (both listening to and singing).
