I'm a qualified Egyptologist who studied Egyptology for so many years. Every single tour of mine focuses on feeling and even smelling the real Egypt in a profound way that can never be forgotten. Live the local atmosphere rather than staying within the limits of touristic bubble. Environment-friendly, ethic-based tours that focus on culture, nature alongside with history. Book one or more of my tours if you like to help stray animals of Egypt, as part of my profit goes to feed, vaccinate, and improve their life quality in the desert of all archaeological sites. Go back in time millions of years and feel the thriller of the whale valley, once was an ancient ocean. See the first pyramid ever built in the history, wander like an ancient citizen in the ambiguous tunnels of the Serapium. Feel the thriller of every molecule of sand and air of Ancient Egypt.

I'll show u inside the amazing earlier pyramids and tombs of Dahshour and Saqqara (Bent pyramid, Unas Pyramid, Djoser pyramid, Teti pyramid, Underground Serapium) in a breathtaking experience you will never forget & teach you how to read the hieroglyphic texts (ancient Egyptian language), and enjoy a delicious organic farm lunch between the charming palm trees of Dahshour 🌴🌴 See the Egyptian crops and farmers baking delicious bread and harvest delicious dates, enjoy the peaceful greenish atmosphere instead of touristic noisy restaurants. I also have many other beautiful tours, such as Fayoum oasis and whale valley, Minia, mount Sinai, Alexandria, etc

Join them and you will never regret :)

The sites we visited at Dahshur, Saqqara, and Memphis are absolute must sees for anyone visiting Cairo and were much less crowded than I anticipated.

Safy was an incredible tour guide and I would 100% recommend her to anyone wanting to visit any of the sites near Cairo. She is extremely knowledgable on Egyptian history, very open to disucssions about the less well understood aspects of early Egyptian civilisation, and even taught us how to read some hieroglyphs.

Beyond her skill as a teacher, Safy is just a great human being. It is very clear from watching her interactions with both the humans and stray animals we encountered along the way that she is an incedibly kind person who wants to improve the lives of everyone she meets.

If I could plan my trip to Cairo again, I would choose her as a guide for all our day trips.

I arrived on Egypt on Feb 28th, 2026. Contrary to the ongoing narrative Egypt is completely safe. There is no impact to Egypt due to the ongoing war between US and Iran. Now coming to Safey and her driver Mohammed, they are phenomenal people. I travelled to Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis with Safey. She is a passionate Egyptologist. While traveling with her we were completely safe and sound. She explained in detail about all the ancient monuments, their purpose of construction and vivid glimpses into Egyptian history. I would definitely recommend you to opt for the lunch at her Saqqara farm. I had the best bread in Egypt there with organic goat cheese. Can't recommend Safey enough. Definitely 11/10

We were very fortunate to have Safy as our guide for Saqqara, Dahshur, and Memphis. If you’re overwhelmed by the hundreds of tour guide options on Private Guide World, you can feel confident choosing Safy.

It’s immediately clear that she's smart and knowledgeable. Her English is excellent. Her explanations were easy to understand. Her pacing of the tour through the sites was on-point -- enough to keep it interesting and in-depth enough to make you feel like you learned something. Her advance communication was proactive and clear. She was thoughtful, generous, and hospitable (e.g., bringing disposable face masks to protect us from the sand in the wind around Saqqara and Dahshur that day).

The tour's lunch break at the farmhouse was fantastic and ultra fresh; it was the best meal we had during our week in Cairo. The outdoor setting in the quiet garden was like an oasis and a fun contrast to touring Saqqara and Dahshur.

The pictures here on the Private Guide World platform that show her feeding the cats and dogs at Saqqara and Dahshur are accurate. If you're afraid of dogs, no need to worry, in our experience they are docile, don't bark, and don't jump around/get excited while being fed. Besides feeding animals at the sites, a couple times during the tour we made additional micro-stops so she could leave food for some animals in the vicinity. You could tell that she whole-heartedly cares about the animals.

If you’re wondering whether you should get a guide to Saqqara/Dahshur/Memphis, the answer is yes. Cairo is not the kind of place to try and manage sightseeing on your own, especially with kids and even if you typically do so in other countries and are comfortable with public transit and walking long distances. After having seen what it would take to try to use public transit to get to the sites, I can assuredly say that without a Safy's facilitation, we wouldn't have been able to get to any of the sites. Her driver Mohamed was friendly, reliable, and prompt. We felt safe with him driving. Watching Safy handle the administrative procedures at the ticketing offices with her (of course) fluent Arabic was another reason that I was so glad to have her with us.

With Safy guiding us we moved through/around the sites more efficiently -- we didn't have to figure out where to go or where we *could* go (since many of these sights don't have much signage). I noted that other tourists missed out on seeing some areas we got to see thanks to Safy's knowledge of the sites. That added to the 'specialness' and the feeling of adventure.

It's worth it to see Saqqara and Dahshur in addition to the Great Pyramids. We took Safy's tour prior to seeing the latter and were glad we did -- there were barely any people at the Saqqara and Dahshur.

Again, we found Safy to be smart and kind and thoughtful. We felt entirely taken care of throughout. Hiring her was 100% worth it for us. I would certainly choose her again and would recommend her to friends and family.

Wow!! Safy was by far the best tour guide we have ever met :)
She kept us safe the entire time and we learnt so much about each landmark. We loved her personality and the way she explained each thing - she really cares about the animals and the environment too which was such a big bonus. She is a young shining jewel with a big heart for both humans and animals. We definitely created so many memories, learned new things and these were the best excursions during our stay 😊 she exceeded our expectations and everything went according to what was communicated. She has so much expertise, though she looks very young, that really made it fun and exciting especially for young travelers to also be able to have a good time and enjoy it. She had so much confidence and knew exactly where to take us. We felt so safe and she planned everything perfectly that we would travel again just to be able to do all her excursions again 💕 thanks so much Safy!‏

Safy is such a wonderful person. Welcoming, knowledgable and passionate about what she does. Absolutely fantastic guide who is willing to go inside tombs and always on hand to answer any questions while inside the pyramids. (Alot of other tour guides stay outside) You’ll also get to see the stray dogs welcome her as she feeds them whenever she can. I highly recommend using Safy on your trips, she’ll make it a memorable experience.

Dream Guide & place !!!!
Dahshour is soooo much beautiful. Getting inside the bent pyramid was my dream and Safy Ahmed is every genuine traveller's dream. From the very first moment of our conversation to the last good-bye she was 110 percent kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. But the real thing comes from elsewhere. The combination of Safy's camera skills and her love of animals, feeding stray dogs and cats, will make your trip a singular experience... Here lies an Egypt you never knew existed. This guide is really unique ! She has a big heart and cares more about our well being than anything. She didn't waste our time in stores, instead, she was very keen on taking us to every single tomb and pyramid ! She was a great guide with verrrry detailed experience in Egyptology and she read the hieroglyphic texts for us ! If you want to leave the country holding back tears, get Safy !

I had the privilege of embarking on a remarkable tour of Egypt led by Safy, and I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience it was. Safy's expertise as a tour guide, combined with her incredible warmth and friendliness, truly made our journey unforgettable.

Safy's extensive knowledge of Egypt's history and culture was evident in every aspect of the tour. She had a talent for bringing ancient wonders to life through captivating storytelling, making history come alive before our eyes. Her ability to connect the past with the present was truly impressive.

But what set Safy apart was her extraordinary nature of pet care. Her compassion for animals, especially the stray cats and dogs we encountered during our travels, was heartwarming. She carried food and water to ensure their well-being, showcasing a level of care and kindness that went beyond the typical tour guide's duties.

Overall, Safy's combination of expertise, friendliness, and her unique pet-caring nature made our Egypt tour an exceptional experience. Her dedication to ensuring our group's comfort and enriching our understanding of Egypt's heritage was truly remarkable. I highly recommend Safy as a tour guide to anyone seeking an unforgettable journey through Egypt with a guide who goes above and beyond to create a meaningful and compassionate experience. Thank you, Safy, for an incredible adventure!
