My journey in the travel industry began many years ago when I had the incredible opportunity to be part of an Excursions, Explorations, and Global Expeditions department for a major American corporation. During this time, I handled local guiding for private and corporate groups, delivered live destination presentations in English and Spanish, managed internal and external communication with local operators, and collaborated closely with corporate management based in Miami. My responsibilities also included overseeing the department's operations, staff training, financial reports, invoices, and administrative tasks in roles ranging from staff member to department manager.
With over 120 countries, 360 cities, and 197 port cities across five continents in my travel portfolio, I bring extensive experience in global travel and cruise operations. I have conducted over 2,000 site inspections worldwide, gaining in-depth knowledge of destinations and their unique aspects.
I’ve also completed various management and leadership courses, including certificates in Leadership ALPS (Delegating for Peak Performance, Coaching for Maximum Results, Power of Communication, Leadership Self-Awareness, Authentic Leadership, Leading Others through Change), Telephone Skills, Conflict Management, and Stress Management. I hold two modules of eCornell training, four modules in Emotional Intelligence, and completed an intensive 10-day Public Speaking and Team Leadership Training in Miami Lakes, USA. Additionally, I studied specific regions at The Travel Institute (USA).
Recently, I’ve worked as a Tour Leader and Private Corporate Guide for International tours, leading extraordinary groups in regions such as Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, the Baltics, and Japan.
Each tour is a new challenge that I embrace with enthusiasm and dedication.
