Tulips and mountains of Samarkand

40 kilometers from Samarkand - and you will find yourselves in a village near Urgut, bordering Tajikistan. You will walk through the spring fields, take colorful pictures of tulips, and admire the landscape of the Zeravshan Mountains. A village resident will introduce you to the local beauties, crafts, and everyday life of the village. In the end, you will have lunch with freshly prepared kazan kebab.

Please note: the tour operates all year round, but tulips can only be seen from April 20th to May 15th.

What awaits you along the picturesque road:

We will meet you at your hotel and go together to the mountain village in Urgut. This place is famous for its plane trees, which are more than a thousand years old. On the road and on the spot, you will admire the beautiful scenery: rocky mountains, spring streams, and magnificent flower fields. Eventually, you will learn a lot about the beautiful place called "Urgut".

Life in the villages of Uzbekistan

In the village you will visit the Mamatov family, - the head of the family will show you the most colorful places in the village, tell about local crafts - carpet weaving and tobacco production and introduce you to the traditions and life of Urgut. In the end, you will know how Urgut differs from other regions of Uzbekistan.

Spring in the mountains

Then we will go to the tulip field at the foot of the mountain. Tulips do not grow as densely as poppies, but, in any case, flowers in the mountains will be one of the most vivid and fresh impressions of a trip to Uzbekistan! Then we will prepare the national dish Kazan-kebab together and dine in the company of the hospitable residents of this village.

The excursion is intended for mountain lovers prepared for difficult treks. We recommend it to people in good physical shape.

We meet at 08.00, the distance to the village is about 40 km. In the village, we will change to another car and go up to the flowering fields.
