Full day Ancient Rome, Vatican City and highlights of Rome. A great choice for first-time visitors, this tour offers an excellent overview of the Eternal City. After your pick up from the hotel, the first half of the day is spent to discover the amazing history of the ancient city of Rome, visiting the Colosseum, climbing up to the Palatine Hill, where Rome was born,then walking down through the Roman Forum.Then we proceed on foot to see Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Navona Square. After lunch (not included), we tour the Vatican Museums including the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, the biggest and most important church in the world and Saint Peter’s Square.
