LAKE SALDA

Not far from the cascade with thermal water is the Salda lake, another splendor that created by nature. The cleanest azure water and white shores of the lake gave us the reason to call it “Turkish Maldives.” This is the deepest lake with fresh water in Turkey. Not only swimming in a lake will bring you indescribable pleasure, there is also a therapeutic clay on the shore, saturated with hydromagnesite and many other minerals, which has a beneficial effect on joints and skin. The original nature surrounds the lake into its beauty and splendor. More than 100 species of birds live here, and flora is represented by more than 300 plant species.
