Day Tour to Hazrat Daud Cave from Samarkand:

Hazrat Daud, also known as Prophet David in Christianity, is a significant figure in both Islam and other Abrahamic religions.

1. Prophethood: Hazrat Daud is considered a prophet and messenger of God in Islam. He is mentioned in the Quran, where his story is narrated in several chapters, including Surah Sad (38:20-25) and Surah An-Naml (27:15-44).

2. Kingdom: According to Islamic tradition, Hazrat Daud was not only a prophet but also a king. He ruled the Israelites after the death of Prophet Samuel (Shamwil). His kingdom is believed to have been located in ancient Israel.

3. Psalms (Zabur): In Islamic tradition, Hazrat Daud is attributed with the authorship of the Zabur (Psalms), which is one of the holy books revealed by God. The Zabur is believed to contain divine guidance, prayers, and praises.

4. Hard Work: Before his prophethood and kingship, Hazrat Daud worked as a blacksmith, indicating that he was accustomed to hard work and perseverance.Hazrat Daud was a fair man and Allah gifted him a possibility to fuse metal in his hands. The Samarkand sovereign decided to make Daud work for him – to forge swords and spears.

5. Early Life:

Hazrat Daud grew up as a shepherd, tending his father’s sheep. He developed skills in playing the harp, which later became part of his life as a prophet and king.

6. Legends: According to an Arab legend Lord sent the biblical King David to Asia to preach monotheism. The preaching of Hazrat Daud, as he was called by Muslims, kindled the anger of Zoroastrians, who lived there, causing them to pursue him. Daud took refuge in the mountains, and praying to God, was able to move apart the stones by hands and tucked in the mountain. After going inside of The mountains, By Allah’s mercy The mountains closed back for saving The prophet! Presently, You will see handprints of the Prophet and disappeared place of the Cave!
