The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek from Pokhara is a breathtaking journey into the heart of the Annapurna Himalayas. This 6-day trek covers approximately 81.1 km, reaching a maximum altitude of 4,130 m at Annapurna Base Camp. The route passes through diverse landscapes, from terraced fields and lush rhododendron forests to rugged high-altitude terrain, offering spectacular views of Annapurna I (8,091 m), Machhapuchhre (6,993 m), and Hiunchuli (6,441 m).

The trek starts with a drive from Pokhara to Siwai, followed by daily hikes of 5-7 hours through villages like Chomrong, Dovan, and Deurali. Along the way, trekkers experience traditional Gurung culture, natural hot springs, and serene teahouse accommodations.

Though considered moderate in difficulty, altitude sickness is a concern, requiring proper acclimatization. The best seasons for trekking are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November), when the weather is stable and views are crystal clear.
