5:00 AM – Early Departure from Kigali
Your day begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kigali. Settle in for a scenic 5-hour drive to the southwestern part of Rwanda. As the sun rises over the land of a thousand hills, you'll enjoy peaceful countryside views and rolling tea plantations along the way. A short stop will be made for breakfast or snacks en route.
Arrival at Nyungwe National Park
Upon arrival at the Uwinka Reception Center, you’ll check in. Zipline Adventure Begins
Start your Nyungwe experience with a heart-pounding zipline ride above the ancient forest canopy. This thrilling activity allows you to glide between treetops, offering panoramic views of lush valleys, dense forest, and distant hills. You'll be fully secured with high-standard safety gear and guided by professional instructors, making this both an exciting and safe experience.
Light Hike to the Canopy Walkway
After the zipline, gear up for a guided nature walk through the Igishigishigi Trail, one of the park’s most scenic trails. This short, moderate hike leads to the Canopy Walkway, a 160-meter-long suspension bridge standing 70 meters above the forest floor. Here, you'll walk among the treetops and soak in stunning views of Nyungwe's vast ecosystem, spotting birds, monkeys, and butterflies along the way.
Departure Back to Kigali
Begin the return drive to Kigali, passing through picturesque landscapes. A brief stop for refreshments can be arranged along the way. Arrival in Kigali
